Kinneil Foreshore sits just north of Kinneil Estate. It’s partly re-claimed land, created from the remnants of the Kinneil Colliery, which closed in 1983. Today the site is a stopping off point for the Bo’ness and Kinneil Railway, and includes miles of paths, woodland and lots of birds!

Here’s just a few pictures of the site. Click to see larger versions.
